The SMA Sunny Island is a 48 V battery inverter for off-grid, backup and self-consumption systems, compatible with lead-acid and more than 20 approved lithium-ion battery types.
Single-phase units combine into three-phase systems; the 6.0H/8.0H models cluster in parallel and via Multicluster boxes up to around 300 kW. IP54 protection, operation from −25 °C to +60 °C and very high overload capability make it ideal for remote sites.
