The SMA Sunny Boy Storage is an AC-coupled battery inverter for high-voltage batteries, with three DC inputs (100–550 V) that can operate up to three lithium-ion batteries — for example BYD or LG — at the same time.
It provides a Secure Power Supply outlet up to 3.7 kW and, with an external transfer switch, fully automatic whole-home backup, reaching 97.5% maximum efficiency with monitoring via Sunny Portal.
