Grundfos's RSI converts PV DC power into three-phase AC for pump operation from 1.5 to 250 kW (2 to 350 hp), in a low-voltage range (3×208–240 V, to 15 kW) and a high-voltage range (3×380–440 V, to 250 kW) with PV input up to 800 VDC. Four built-in MPPT algorithms continuously optimise output to the available irradiation, and AC/DC compatibility lets the grid or a generator back the system up during solar disruptions.

A setup wizard with the built-in Grundfos product library (SP, CR, NB/NK, MTR, CM, TP) makes commissioning plug-and-pump, and the drive also works with any VFD-suitable three-phase motor in new or existing systems. Enclosure classes reach IP66 / NEMA 4X for outdoor mounting; protection covers over/under-voltage, overload, over-current, over-temperature and no-load, with dry-running switch and level-switch inputs and a detachable operating panel with stored history.
