Dayliff's Sunflex are multistage centrifugal submersible pumps with true hybrid capability: they run on DC solar (60–380 V), AC mains or generator power (90–240 V), the inbuilt intelligent controller auto-configuring to whichever source is connected and prioritising solar. MPPT on the DC side and power-factor correction on the AC side maximise efficiency across the 0.75–2.2 kW range.

The canned, water-filled brushless permanent-magnet motor runs at 500–4500 rpm with IP68 protection and Class F insulation, driving all-stainless hydraulics with water-lubricated bearings to immersion depths of 100 m. Dry-running protection, soft start, overload/underload and over/under-voltage protection are built in; the optional SF200 external control unit adds source selection, level control and status display.
