C.R.I.'s SOLO openwell submersibles are built for open wells and tanks with wide water-level fluctuation: the pump rests at the bottom of the well and keeps working as levels change. The range covers 1 to 5 HP with heads from 8 to 50 m and daily outputs up to 247,500 litres — well suited to traditional open wells used for irrigation.

The water-cooled motor is rewindable, with a pressure-equalising diaphragm, water-lubricated bearings designed for axial thrust and dynamically balanced rotating parts. The motor body comes in stainless steel 304 or cast iron, and the pumps run on solar power through C.R.I.'s VFD solar pump controller with MPPT.
