ShadeStar is AE Solar's patented smart module for shaded environments: the cell matrix is split into independently bypassed segments, so shaded areas are isolated instead of dragging down the whole string or creating hot spots.

Its shading performance has been independently tested by Fraunhofer CSP, making it ideal for rooftops with chimneys, dormers, antennas or trees.
